Leopard gecko eye issue. Misshapen Pupil/Iris Any ideas?

Hi guys -

My leopard gecko, Celes , is having a problem with one of her eyes. She has been holding the problem eye closed for a while now, so I have not gotten a really good look at it until yesterday when I pulled her out to check on her more thoroughly. She has been refusing food for several of weeks, and that is a problem because she has been having trouble eating for a while now (sporadically interested, has trouble keeping roaches in her mouth, etc). So you'll see she is very thin. Her diet is dubia roaches, and she has calcium + D powder in her cage. It has been warmer than normal in my house due to summer temps, so being too cold is not a problem. Her hot side is 90-100 depending on the spot, and her cool side is 70-75 due to the warm room temps right now. Her humid hide is on the warm side, but not fully on the heat pad and it was around 90 degrees last time I measured.

She has been hanging out in the humid hide, which had gone dry because I was trying to leave her alone. She has been holding her mouth a bit open, like she cannot breath correctly, and she has been holding her head up on the sides of her humid hide and cave. I finally pulled her out to re-moisten the hide, and that's when I saw how bad of shape she was in (way too skinny and likely dehydrated).

I have posted two pictures, the first one of her "normal" eye. The second one is the problem. Her pupil and iris have changed shape, and they do not have sharp borders anymore. There is some darker brown coloring along the edge of the black pupil. I do not see any puss or mucus or stuck skin. Her eyelid has a "wrinkled" look to it, which has happened in the past when some skin got stuck there a bit too long and her eyelid swelled up and got irritated. Perhaps the dehydration is adding to the strange look of her eyelid?

I am trying to get some nutrients/strength back in her with liquid/recovery food right now (Fluker's Repta+Boost and getting some Carnivore Care). She will eat some of that stuff via syringe and she also takes water that way. She already has more energy since last night when I gave her some of the Repta+Boost and water. She moves around fine when I'm holding her, and she has enough spunk to try and avoid my feeding syringe and try to get away from me.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen anything like this with their geckos' eyes?

I'm currently trying to get ahold of a vet to get her in. She has NOT been to the vet yet. I'm just trying to get any ideas of what I can do to help her.

Thank you for any help/advice/experience you can provide.

P.S. In the past, Celes had a very large self-inflicted nose injury (due to rubbing her nose during a bad shed), which completely obliterated her nostrils. They have since re-appeared, but this is why they look a bit odd in these pictures.

Got an appointment for Thursday.

In the meantime, I will keep giving her a little bit of recovery food (ReptiBoost for now) each day, make sure she's getting water, and and I got some Reptaid to try as well.

:( My poor baby. Stay strong, little one, I'm trying to help you...
