Does anyone else's gecko just laze about right out in the open the moment the lights go off? There's this bit of slate that is nowhere near optimal temp (28-29C tops) right outside the hot hid and he/she plops down on top of it after handling or feeding and just watches what I do around the room.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the behaviour, her legs are against her sides so she can raise herself up, and does very easily, much more active than I was expecting her to be. I keep thinking there's something wrong because I thought they weren't meant to lay down so much and to watch out for it, but the moment I approach the tank she stands up and runs up to the glass so I can let her out.
I'll try to take a picture of it tomorrow to explain a bit better, reading it back it's jumbled but I have no idea how to word it.

It's probably fine. Some of these geckos are so lazy you wonder how they even manage to eat. Others are squirming all over the place. Right now I'm in my gecko room (also known as my living room). One gecko was trying to drill through the cage a few minutes ago but is now sitting calmly. Everyone is calm now but half an hour ago the place seemed like a hotbed of activity.
