Hi!! Just got a giant day gecko from Petco...felt like I was rescuing it
I have a 30 gallon tank that was already set up like a paludarium. Waterfall filter, small water area, live plants and driftwood to climb on. My question is about lighting. I had an old fish tank light that I threw a 5.0 uvb bulb in. And I have a marineland led light for planted tanks oon it.
I'm looking into the exo terra large compact top, the zoo med slider hood, or the zoo med combo hood. Which one is better? I really don't like those dome things. Just want what's best.
The gecko is awesome. It eats off my finger. Hangs out on the glass mostly.
