Will noise stress out my gecko?

Hello!
I have a quick question:
So today I got a new filter for one of my aquariums which sits right by my leopard gecko tank. The air pump on the filter makes a buzzing sound so I wrapped it up in a towel to dampen it but you can still hear it. Will this stress out my gecko any?

It's amazing what they can get used to!

I suspect after a while the buzzing will just become background noise for them and they will become so used to it, they may be a bit uneasy at first if they don't hear it!
