What does a seizure in a Leopard gecko look like? What are the causes?

I’ve tried looking on YouTube and even just searching it up and I don’t have any information (other than what it could look Ike) on what some signs are and why it happens.

The reason I’m asking is because today for the first time my leopard gecko, Calypso had almost done a 360 with the bottom end of her tail after I tapped on her glass gently. (I know I shouldn’t have done it but I’m stupid and I won’t ever do it again especially after seeing this). I don’t know if she twisted her tail like that to say wow stop or if it was just a coincidence. She has never done anything like that ever and she didn’t even seem annoyed besides the tail thing.

If that sounds like a mini seizure or anything at all to anyone please tell me. And any info on gecko seizures and what might cause them! Thank so much!

It's hard to know exactly what you're talking about without seeing it, but leopard geckos do use their tails to express different feelings, so this could just be a startle response.

It wasnt a usual tail wave to signal move out or anything like that. It was a quick swivel of her tail like nothing I’ve seen before.

And if u have any info on seizures please tell me thanks

I really don't think this would be anything like a seizure. As Aliza said, it sounds more like a startled response.

yep startled, i've seen a couple of my girls do it when they are un-interested in mating they flee from the male an do a nervous tail shake.
