Hello I am a new gecko owner,
I got my baby leo, Loki, about 4 days ago. I have been feed him/her (i do not know the gender but I am just gonna say he for convenience) small mealworms and he eats 4 or 5 every night I have had him so far. However he has only pooped once the first day I got him. I read that a baby leopard gecko poops about 1 to 3 times a day so I am a little worried. He seems to be eating fine, he has a pretty big appetite he always eats everything I give him. So I was wondering should i be concerned? I was considering swapping to crickets as I know some babies might have a hard time with digesting mealworms, crickets are a pain but I will do what I have to, in order to make sure he is healthy. As far as my cage I am using a 20 gallon cage with a hot hide, a humid hide and a cold hide. The cool side is around 74, and the hot side is about 90 ish, I am using an auto thermometer and a under tank heat pad to keep it in the range of 86 to 92. I am using repticarpet as the substrate. Any advice would be appreciated I just want to make sure he is ok.
