I have 2 crested geckos, each with their own exo terra enclosures. Yoda was adopted as a tailless adult, and obviously male. Jojo as a juvenile, and still has her(?) tail. I suspect Jo is a female after searching for and not finding pores, but I've noticed the area where a hemipenal bulge is on Yoda is slightly baggy looking, so now I'm wondering if 'she' is actually a 'he' who has not yet developed the bulge. I do not intend to breed, I just want to use proper pronouns before I get too attached to saying she and her. If needed I can attach a pic of both side by side or can take one of her baggy area. Jo is almost as long in the body as Yoda, but is still filling out, so not yet as pleasingly plump as he is.
Do female subadult cresties have slightly baggy post vent areas, or is Jojo a male?

If you can provide pictures, that would help. Here is what the vent area of a juvenile male looks like. The bulge is hard to mistake. My male here was abnormally slow to develop his (he was about a year and a half old).
Females may have a tiny bit of a raised area, but it's generally pretty flat in comparison.
