It's been a while since I have had an opportunity to post, so I figured it would be good to update how we are doing.
Have had Taz (my adult Lavendar Leopard Gecko) for over 9 months now. Taz was a rescue turned in to the animal shelter I work at with about 8 others Leos. He has made it abundantly clear that he does not care for people. He hides most of the time and, if I need to move him for cleaning, Taz will squeak and thrash his tail until put down. I respect his feelings and no longer attempt to acclimate him to handling.
He resides in a 20 gal long tank in my work office and eats mealworms and crickets. Has shed several times since coming to live with me. I am lucky that multiple co-workers have geckos and they help care for him when I am on vacation or out sick.
We are doing fine, but I will be posting some questions on other areas of this forum.
