Is this normal Baby Crestie stuff?

My baby crested gecko keeps falling. He'll be trying to move to another spot and slip. I'm trying not to worry too much because babies of pretty much every other living thing are clumsy and awkward so why not cresties? Humidity is around 55% so I don't think it's too dry. Could it be because the leaves and glass are too wet?

Another issue is I have yet to see him eat. I leave food on one of those feeding ledges and on the bottom of the terrarium but neither look like they've been touched. I've seen poop once since I got him last Tuesday. He's in my work office so he could be eating at night and I just don't know it. But I thought there would be more obvious signs.

Thanks!

If there is actually a film of water on the side of the enclosure, it can be hard for the crestie to hold on. If it's about to shed it can be hard as well. I have had crested geckos that I never saw eat yet they thrived. Poop is a good sign.

Sure! Also, he actually went into shed a few hours after I posted this which might explain why he was falling all the time.

Thank you guys so much!

I would agree on the eating. They eat at night while they are awake, so you may never see it.

Your tank looks great - nice and colorful! If you can fit a few more branches or vines and a little more foliage, that could be beneficial. The more there is, the better they seem to like it.

I love your profile pic, btw! :)
