My leopard gecko has not eaten a full meal of crickets in approximately two months, and I'm beginning to worry about her. She is around six years old, female, and is still active. Every night, with exception to a few nights ago, she has been scratching on the top of her cage and trying to get out.
I would assume that the reason is because it's mating season, however my brother also has a 2 year old female leopard gecko who has been eating regularly.
My leopard gecko has a heat pad, as well as calcium and other supplementation, and has never been sexually active. She has a cool and hot side, moisture. She has still been pooping and shedding as per usual, but I do think her tail may have gotten slightly smaller. Should I be concerned? How long do females fast usually?
Thanks!
