I hate crickets for many reasons. First, they smell horrible. Second, I keep finding them all over my house (not sure how these little buggers keep escaping). My geckos (baby and adult) will not eat anything other than the crickets. The shop I purchased the baby from about 2 weeks ago said she had been fed strictly mealworms and my adult had eaten mealworms since i got him 8 months ago. The baby won’t even go near the worms and my big guy used to love mealies but suddenly stopped.
My big guy won’t even try waxworks or hornworms either. He ate one hornworm and now walks away from them as soon as I put them near him. (I only try giving him one a week as a treat). I can’t give the baby hornworms because they grew so quickly they are almost as big as she is and she won’t touch wax worms either.
How can I get them to eat the mealies and Dubias rather than the crickets?
