Reintroduce myself and Taz

I have not been on the forum for some time now due to work and family issues, so felt it was a good idea to say "Hi" once again. I work at a shelter and this guy came in with 6 other Leos in January 2019. He is my first and only gecko and it has been a learning experience. Taz has never been social and continues to shun any contact. He will squeak and struggle non-stop when handled. So, I have accepted him the for who he is.

Anyway, I hope to become more involved with the forum from now on.

My girl Ruth took a long time to get comfortable being handled. Making cleaning the tank really difficult. I watched a video of a girl who seemed to really understand leos. She made a clicking noise every time to let her gecko know it was her. I thought I would give it a try. For a little over a month I would click and just lay my hand in the tank. Eventually she climbed onto my hand. Now she comes running to the door everytime she she's me coming to check on her. Sometimes she climbs out other times she looks at me with the nope not today face.

It may be worth a try if interested. TAZ IS AMAZING by the way!
