Changing feeding days for 6 month gecko

So my gecko is 6 months old so I’m going to change his feeding days to every other day.
I’m very paranoid about his weight as he had worms when he was younger and became very skinny so I weigh him frequently to make sure he is putting on weight and not he is 32grams and looking healthy. When I change to every other day feeding is it normal that he will lose weight for the first bit while he adjusts? Or will he continue to slowly put on?

I tried switching to every other day about a week ago but then noticed he went from 29.85g to 29.45g in the space of about 3 days so I panicked and started feeding every day again... I know it wasn’t as drastic drop but I think I worry too much about it.

So here is a picture of him just to know he’s a healthy weight! I know his tail isn’t super chunky but I thought maybe that was due to him being young still? In one of the photos his belly looks fat but he’s splooted down in the picture I guess because he was on my boyfriends back and it was warm!

I don't think a drop of 4 tenths of a gram in 3 days is significant. He'd lose more than that if he pooped. If you feed him every other day, he may end up eating more on those days. It never hurts to try it and see what happens. Give it a few weeks, though and don't worry about tiny changes. A gram isn't much.
