Only eats wax worm and psychotic episode.

So my male is roughly 8 months old and we went through an I dont want to eat faze a few months ago. He started eating again and thought all was fine. Now we are back to not wanting to eat anything but wax worms. He spits crickets out and has no interest in meal or super worms. I fed him wax worms today and he was fine. Then all of a sudden after I put another one in for him to eat and he had a psychotic episode. He just started running around the cage as fast as he could going crazy for about 15 mins... This is the second time this has happened.

I can't tell you exactly what's going on with his behavior, though I do see this occasionally. As you probably know, it's a good idea to get him off waxworms. There are 2 ideas I can think of. One is to rub waxworm guts on the feeder you want him to eat and see if that gets him to eat something else. The other is to just stop offering waxworms and keep offering the other feeders. These guys can go quite awhile without eating with no significant ill effects. Just be grateful you don't have toddlers.
