ZooMed Repti Calcium vs Now Calcium Carbonate

Hello, I’ve been searching for calcium supplements that are just as good as Nutrobal vetark. So far ZooMed seems to be # 1 here in the US but it doesn’t have a long stick time like Nutrobal. https://cdn.fbsbx.com/v/t59.2708-21...68636a0d007076d891ffbd70c713&oe=5F73EDCC&dl=1

Nutrobal takes a long time to arrive from Amazon so I’ll just have to look for a different supplement that could be better.

So I’m looking at the human supplement Now calcium carbonate. It claims to have 46% calcium in comparison to Zoomed’s 38% min - 43% max. Is the Now supplement almost as good as Nutrobal calcium levels?

Have you been trying Zoo Med's Reptivite multivitamins with or without D3? I use Reptivite without D3, Zoo Med's Repti Calcium with D3, and occasionally NOW plain calcium. I know that Reptivite without D3 doesn't "stick" very well. Repti Calcium with D3 sticks pretty good.

NOW human brand calcium carbonate is a pure calcium carbonate. Being pure I believe it never expires. I feel that NOW is comparable to Zoo Med's Repti Calcium without D3. I've been using NOW for my geckos for many years. It sticks well to insects.

"NOW Calcium Carbonate is a basic calcium supplement that contains one of the highest concentrations of elemental calcium (about 40%), making it an optimal formulation for supporting healthy bones and teeth."

Vetark's Nutrobal is an all-in-one multivitamin that contains a Ca ratio of 46:1.

I wonder whether 46% is actually on current NOW bottles? Where did you find that? From what I see NOW compares quite favorably with Zoo Med's Repti Calcium without D3.

I currently have ZooMed Reptivite without D3 but I’m about to switch to Reptivite with D3. I don’t mind the reptivite’s lack of stick, I just have 1 reptile that I’m going to be supplementing and I feel that the Repti calcium with D3 will expire with lots of product still in it. The same will perhaps happen with the Reptivite but I believe that there will atleast be less product left by the time it expires. Since I’m in the US Nutrobal is rather costly due to shipping so I’m just curious if there are US calcium supplement brands better than ZooMed Repti Calcium.

I don't know any superior USA brands of calcium carbonate to NOW or to Zoo Med.

I think NOW is equivalent to Zoo Med Repti Calcium.

In order to compare amount of calcium carbonate in NOW to the amount of calcium carbonate in Repti Calcium without D3 we need equivalent % by weight or by volume. Have you seen either units for Repti Calcium?
