DIY hide sizes

Hey everyone,
I am in the process of designing a tank for my 1st leo and need some help. What dimensions do i need for each hide? I cant find any information on what is recommended. My current idea for my 20L tank is a 9x11 for the heat hide. Is that too big? I want enough room to turn around comfortably. What recommendations do you have for the sizes of the heat, moist and cool hide. Does one need to be bigger than the other.

Thanks

I think to some extent it depends on the leo. They tend to like to squeeze into smaller spaces. I measured 3 "favorite" hides of my leos and got 6"x6" and 9"x6".

as a tip, this time of year you can buy some really nice opaque 'Christmas cookie' containers in all different sizes that make great hides.
my big male has two 6" diameter hides, and one of the old large exoterra caves that is only 3 inches tall, my female has the rectangle Chinese food containers
when I use plastic containers to make hides, I edge the door with hot glue so there isn't any sharp bits.
