How is this even the same gecko?

This is the difference in 24 hours. Left was him last night after I got him, right is the day before he came home. And yes this absolutely is the same gecko, I have matched up the patterning & spots! I have seen him "fired down" and while it is a light sand color it is nowhere near this white. Could he possibly have been in shed? Is he a chameleon in disguise? :coverlaugh:

Also, he looks like a (maybe) dalmatian brindle to me maybe. Any other guesses?

I think there's a range from "fired up" to "fired down" and when you saw him "fired down" he may not have been all the way there. I have a crestie that's pale beige when he's fired down and red when he's fired up. As far as the morph goes, they all just look brown to me, except when they're not . . .
