One of my younger crested geckos (a little under a year) has recently been hiding under one of his decorations a lot more. I have been checking on him periodically and I still spray him multiple times a day and provide food at night. I took him out for a healthcheck tonight and was horrified to discover that he has a wavy tail. It would have formed within the last few days as I held him two days ago and didn't notice anything. I was scared that it might be MBD but I feed him Pangea and Repashy and even mix in a little extra calcium without D3 every other day so i'm confused as to how this could have happened. I think he might not have been coming out of his hiding spot to drink and could be dehydrated so I supervised him as a sprayed him tonight and took the decoration out. I also stick-fed him tonight so I could make sure he was getting enough food. The decoration he climbs into is an Exo-Terra sculpture of like a carved tree with leaves sticking out of it but he has found a tiny hole in the back that he can crawl into the hollow sculpture through. I'm really hoping he's just dehydrated but I don't know what to do. Any advice would be super helpful. thank you!
