Okay, so there will be a lot of photos in this post and hopefully I will be able to explain my concerns well. Last night, I was watching my female leopard gecko Gizmo go over to her potty area to see if she was pooping normally and I looked under the tank with a flashlight and noticed two white dots in her underbelly. Getting photos was difficult and when I picked her up to check her out, the white spots that I noticed seemed to disappear. I’ve included many photos of her underbelly, all edited slightly to increase saturation/definition/contrast so you can better see what im talking about.
*Note: the first two photos are the edited and unedited versions of last night when I first noticed the white dots. The rest of the photos are from today after she has taken a normal-looking poop.
Also, in general, does her underbelly look normal? Specifically in the photos where im holding her. Is she gravid/ovulating? She’s never been exposed to a male gecko, except when she was very young - she was housed with multiple other geckos at the place I rescued her from.
She has recently pooped and everything looks normal, and her appetite is fine.
Last night before i checked her underbelly I did notice her wandering around her tank a lot and staring around, and she randomly made a little squeak/chirp noise, which isn't exactly out of the ordinary for her. Could she be calling to a male?
also, if anyone has advice on how to attach photos to these posts that don't end up making them look like trash, please lmk
