In need of help..

We've gotten my leopard gecko four months ago and he's been doing thankfully fine, but just recently he's been having troubles. He hasn't pooped in a week, hasn't been eating and won't normally drink his water; we're starting to get concerned and I'm not sure what to do. Any help?

Perhaps your leo is dehydrated? Dehydration can cause constipation.

Please buy a 4-pack of TINY hornworms from PetCo or PetSmart to help him out. Hornworms contain 85% moisture!!! :)

Also try 1 drop of olive oil or vegetable oil on his snout 1x per day. After a 10 minute WARM soak, gently massage his belly in a throat-to-vent manner.

We're getting hornworms now, so hopefully he'll eat it! He's also about to shed, as well, but he's taking a lot longer than usual.

Have you kept hornworms in the past? My link shows how to keep hornworms from mushrooming in size overnight.

Hornworms are an excellent plain calcium source too!

Yes, we have! It seemed to help him, because it looks like he has a problem with dehydration, despite us giving him fresh water daily and spraying his tank every so often.
