My male Leopard gecko had sperm pores that were so impacted his shed use to get stuck on them. I gave him a bath and worked out the plugs that took well over two hours because he was fighting the whole time.
Now three months later, I felt his sperm pores and I feel like they are starting to become "crusty" or outwardly impacted again. I had put a cork in his tank and pieces of rock for him to rub against months ago, but it doesn't seem like it has helped to prevent this issue.
The question I have is; should I bathe him and qtip the sperm pores/plugs out again before they get big like last time or is it a normal occurrence that he will rid himself of (no shed has gotten stuck on these pores this time)?
And how often do male leopard gecko owners have to do this (I dont remember this issue happening with my last male gecko)?
