Crested gecko, 5hr car ride, acting strange

I put my crested gecko in a smaller cage and took him for a 5 hr car ride. Now in the hotel he is still in the same cage and he wouldn't sleep till 3:00pm. During the time he would be usually sleeping he was acting weird. At one point he was breathing super fast, so I picked him up. He was moving faster than normal from hand to hand... Then when I started lowering him back into his cage he jumped. I thought maybe he needed to eat so I put some repashy food in his tank. Then when I tried to pick him up to put him near it, he was all sketchy. He eat, he pooped, now he's finally asleep.

Will he be okay?

Sounds like he's just a little stressed. Some cresties don't do well with too much change. As long as he is eating, drinking, sleeping and pooping and you keep the temperature between 68ºF and 82ºF and humidity levels between 50-90% then you should be A-OK.
