Problem Heating New Vivarium

Can anyone help? We have an albino leopard gecko who has been in a 3ft vivarium heated by a 20w heat mat and it hasn’t been hard to get the temp up to 32-34C for her basking area.

I have now bought a 4ft vivarium, which also about 10 inches higher, and needs a lamp to heat. I have installed a 75W ceramic heater today which is near the front corner a little way from the edge of the viv and towards the front. However, the new substrate (admittedly still damp being fresh from the bag) is only reaching 25.5C and the gradient means it is cold from about one-third of the way along.

From the photos, do I need to move the heater further along or have more powerful ceramic bulb or both? OR do I get a basking bulb? Only concern is as she is albino, she is sensitive to UV.

I will attach photos if I can and any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated as I need to get this right quickly so we can move her into her new home!

Many thanks.

Are you measuring ground temperatures or air temperatures? What substrate are you using?
