So, what is a reptile exactly?
Reptiles are cold-blooded animals with dry, scaly skin. Unlike mammals, they don’t have fur or hair, and they usually lay eggs (though some give birth to live young!). Think snakes, lizards, turtles, crocodiles all part of this diverse group!
One thing I love about reptiles is how ancient they are many species haven’t changed much for millions of years! It’s like having a little piece of prehistory alive today.
