Morph Question

I have been researching Leos morphs for awhile now but dont know what the percentage of what morph of offspring hey will produce ( if that makes sense)
Like if you bred lets say a Mack Snow to an Albino what % of the offspring would be Mack Snow, MS Albino, & albino. Also if some morphs dont work like that.

The Mack snow morph is codominat. This means that a heterozygote gecko, that is with one copy of the gene, has half way look, (in this case less yellow). as compared to a gecko with no, a normal, or two copies, (one from each parent) a mack super snow, that is without yellow and with a typical pattern of dots.

The albino gene is recessive. This means the heterozygote looks like a normal gecko.

So the pairing Mack snow x Albino will statistically yeald 50% Mack snows and 50% normals, all heterosygote for the albino trait.

I assume you mean breeding 2 leos that each have 1 copy of the Mack snow gene. In that case, you would get 50% Mack Snow, 25% super snow and 25% normal. If you're talking about breeding the non-Mack snow product of a Mack snow breeding together, you would get 100% normal because non Mack snow offspring of Mack snows have no genes for snow,.

The Blizzard morph is not codominant. It is recessive like the albino.

I suggest you look at the morph section of The leopardgeckowiki, that should answer most of your questions.

Category:Morphs - Leopard Gecko Wiki

The only other morph i can think of right now that is codominant in leopard geckos is the Giant.

The enigma morph is dominant.

To get a Mack snow enigma you just have to mate an enigma with a mack snow. The babies will statistically be 25% Mack snow enigma 25% Mack snow 25% Enigma 25% normal.
