Just thought I would share todays hatchling pics.

Father is an Enigma/Blizzard/Bell and the mother is a Tangerine/Enigma:

Baby pictures are too cool.... I tend to look over the photos in the forums for posted hatchling pics. Can't wait to see what this one grows up to look like....

Isn't it looked down upon to breeding two enigma's together?

Gorgeous baby. =D

??? I don't know....is it? I had not heard of that before. I would like to know if it is and why if so.

This baby seems pretty healthy and normal otherwise. My understanding was that Enigma is a dominant trait in any case, so its hard to understand what the problem would be.

Anyone have more input on that? I have a small group of leopards that I breed just for kicks, not for sale/profit really... though there are some really nice looking ones out there that make it tempting. They are so easy to breed....

I think that the theory is that a lot of people are trying to out cross the enigmas in an effort to lessen the negative traits often associated with them (head tilt, walking in circles, etc). I don't know that there's been any clear evidence that out crossing has actually had any impact on diminishing these negative aspects though. Certainly can't hurt to out cross them though.
