I don't think you'll ever really need to candle them. Have you candled eggs before? The one time I felt the need to was with my lone female gold dust. She laid an egg and a few weeks later I candled it to find out it was a dud. I dot the top of my eggs with a sharpie to make sure if I am clumsy. I can fix the egg back to it's position. If you decide to mess with it though try to do so as little as possible.
Also, I have been taking my eggs out of the adults enclosure and incubating them in containers. I take the lid off to let fresh air in ever couple days. I basically pop the lid off and look at the eggs for a few seconds and put the lid back on. Good luck!
