Setting Thermostat

Okay so I bought the Hydrofarm Jump Start Heat Mat Thermostat. I noticed tonight it fluctuates up and down about 6 degrees. Should I set it at 90?

How long has it been running? Mine took a good 3-4 days to really regulate. I would also check around your cage for hot spots and set the thermostat probe there. I have one right at the edge of the warm dry hide that would reach 2F higher than in the actual hide. The hide still stays in good temp range but I don't want any areas of the cage getting 95F!
