All I can say is wow! You know that this may be bigger than some people's living space (well, maybe not) and I bet her rent is a lot lower. I know there can be worry about her finding her food in such a big space. I have to say that I had a hatchling escape one summer and she was found two...
Some people will say never to house leopard geckos together because they may fight. I do house some small groups of females together and rarely have problems. When I was breeding leopard geckos, I housed the male with the female(s) for the entire breeding season. I found that the male was very...
I agree with Elizabeth that he looks to be a good weight. Her recommendations for change are good. I've had leopard geckos go on hunger strikes many times (sometimes, but not usually, for months). If you make the recommended changes and he's still not eating, in my opinion, as long as he's...
I wil add, after reading what you wrote in the other thread, that I have a different opinion about heating and crested gecko enclosures. I'm in the process of writing a crested gecko care sheet for morereptiles.com. I'm saying there that in my opinion, crested geckos will be fine without...
Sounds great. I tried breeding them and failed miserably. I produced 7 offspring and despite all my efforts and consultation with Leann Christensen, they just didn't make it. I still don't know what I did wrong. I wrote an article about it here:

Welcome! Where are you on LI? I grew up there. I have one male L. williamsi named Mr. Blue. Mr. Blue occasionally zips out of his cage when I'm misting (fortunately not recently) but at least he's learned how to get back into his cage so I just have to leave it open until he returns from...
I keep a beardie but not Uromastyx. For best results, google "bearded dragon care" and "Uromastyx care" and compare. They also don't look anything alike.

Welcome! Geckos are kind of like Lays potato chips: no one can keep just one.
Remember that mourning geckos are parthenogenetic, which means if you start with a few you'll ultimately have a lot more than a few. I don't find crested geckos to be that difficult. They don't really need heat, if...
I kept a single klemmeri about 10 years ago for quite a number of years. The setup looks pretty good to me. I'd say you should watch out for the following things:
--with all that light and heat, will you be able to maintain a reasonable humidity? I'm not saying you can't, but offhand it does...
I use a hand sprayer that I can latch on and probably spray for about 30 seconds max. My oldest gecko, Spencer, likes to spend the days on the ground in his hide or wrapped up in some of the leaves. He spends the evenings on the glass, where he is now. I have a large enclosure with 3 female...
I live in New England with forced hot air heating so it gets pretty dry here in the winter as well. At the moment I have 3 cages of cresties, 3 cages of gargoyles and 1 leachie cage. They are all planted like yours. I mist in the evenings only and don't provide any additional heat. Everyone...
Most silkworm providers also have a reconstituted food that you can buy that's based on mulberry. They seem to do fine with this. I use silkworms only in the summer when I can get mulberry leaves from local trees.
