Well I had a weird afternoon. I got home from school, filled up the lawnmower with a full tank of gas planning to mow the lawn. We just got this lawnmower like 4 months ago and have only used it 3 times since then as the grass is just starting to need to be cut (so its still like brand...

Hi,
Well I walked out to the gecko room and saw a big dirt nest in the Phyllurus cage and then I lifted up the rock and there was my female!! So I moved her and there were 2 perfect eggs. She was 22 grams yesterday and I could see eggs in her but only saw one so I was surprised when I saw 2...
Ok, I am wondering if there are any known hybrid Bavayia out there or if anyone has done it. Now I am by no means planning to do this, as I like to keep things Pure, but I am interested to hear if there are any known hybrids in the wild or captivity.
Also has anyone recently brought in new...
Well I have been promising everyone pics for awhile but never got my room how I wanted it, but I figured I will never be satisfied with it as I can always improve but this is how it looks right now. I have been really working on it for the last few months so hope you guys like it.
Just a note...
I came home today to find my one of my williamsi had hatched!! The other one still hasn't hatched but hopefully soon!
Well Enjoy, sorry the pics are bad, but he is about 2 tic tacs long and about 1 in diameter.
Thanks Derek
Well I thought it turned out ok, until I talked to Haroldo and he was right, the acrylic I made the front panal out of, just warped within the first 2 days; I was amazed how fast it did it with just misting the cage once a day.
So still have to try and find a design that will work and hold up...
I am trying to find a way to provide my Bavayia with a more natural, less sanitary substrate yet keep it so it is easy to find eggs.
I figure if Cypress would work then I could use a peat moss laying box and make it more damp than the cypress that way they will lay in the nest box and I won't...
I am pairing up all my breeders for this year and took a few of one of my goyle pairs. The female (the striped one) is a whopping 60 grams and she isn't even pregnant yet. This pair is weird...I get everything, high contrast b/w stripes, red stripes, stripes with orange blotches everything LOL...
Well I just put together this cage its 16 by 16 by 20 inches (wxlxh). For my pair of Phyllurus.
I made the background out of greatstuff then coating it with black silicone then covering that with peat moss, the cork is held in by the greatstuff and their is a cork tube in the top center...
Well I got this new pinstripe today and thought I'd snap a few pics of him. This is is first time being introduced to CGD and seems to take to it pretty well, he practically ate it as soon as I put it in the tank.
Enjoy,
Derek
Hey,
I am trying to put together a nice but functional setup for my Phyllurus pair. I got a 16 by 16 by 20inch (lxwxh) Barrs cage that I plan to house them in. So I would really appreciate any pics of your breeder Phyllurus cages.
Thanks Derek
Hey,
I just finished 2 of these cages, they are the 12 by 12 by 16 inch Barrs cages. One houses a trio of B. robusta and one a trio of B. cyclura
Let me know how you like them
Thanks Derek
