Big for his age? Over feeding?

Yes. Gustavo was hatched 5/18/08. So he's now 2 months old.

Is he too big for his age? Am I over feeding him?!? Oh and that's my boyfriends hand. He's 6'3. Hah. So he's got big hands, for a reference to Gus' length.

He's in his 'playful' mood. So he likes to jump around and play. He has this rope that he follows. Sort of like a cat? He's a dorky gecko. I love him. hah. so by flopping I mean wagging. Whenever I touch his tail to measure him he flicks it at me.

His mom is a Tremper Mack Snow Albino (het for RAPTOR)
His daddy was a Las Vegas Patternless Albino

really shouldn't have bred his parents together... crossing albino strains is not good!
so gustavo is actually a patternless het rainwater albino and %50 poss het RAPTOr

I didn't breed him. I got him mostly for his personality. He was so cute in his little terrarium at the breeder's house. =]

I could be mistaken on his parents. I've been having problems identifying his morph. I have nothing in writing of his genetics. As his breeder isn't completely sure which clutch he came from. All I know his I'm not going to get a gecko from her again. She couldn't tell me exactly which clutch he was, only the date he was hatched. she 'accidently mixed some eggs' in transfering to the incubator. I know accidents happen. But it was still stupid of her. He's one of two clutches she had at that time.

Why's it bad to breed two albinos? What are the health risks in him? Does this mean I can't breed him?

you shouldn't breed him, and to a breeder, he is useless. the two strains of albino are not compatible, so he is het for both strains. long story short: it takes a lot of breeding to narrow his genes down to one strain of albino.

Okay. I don't want to get this all confusing. >.<

She had 4 geckos breeding this last season.
They were:
Tremper Mack Snow Albino (het for RAPTOR) female
Las Vegas Patternless Albino male
Blazing Blizard (het for patternless) male
Murphy's Patternless female.

There's a chance that any of these are his parents. She's unsure. Because she didn't label the deli cups and accidently switched them. She also didn't label who bred with who on the deli cups. Which is how she remembers who bred. So she doesn't know who bred and who their mate was.

She had a total of 5 in the first clutch, and only 3 in the other.

Mine came from the clutch of 5.

This is my dilema. I don't know what he is. And I'm not completely sure of his genetics. She told me she was only 50% sure on his genetics. He's a very pretty gecko. And all his clutchmates looked JUST like him.

From the list I've given, can you even guess as to which pair his parents may be? Because his eyes aren't red. Or show any trace of red. They're slate black. With grey here and there.

He's a confusing little gecko. Next time I'm getting one from someone on this board.

And I thank you Nate for sticking around to help me with this never ending issue I've had for over a month.

I've been going crazy over this gecko. Trying to find out what morph he is. =[

I guess I'll just say he's a Gustavo morph.

But I do have to say, I'm absolutely estatic to be the lucky owner of this little guy. He's a joy to have. Biggest personality by far. Even bigger than my past cats and dogs!
