He's not a Male. He's infact, a female. He was incubated Male. Looked male. Everything. Now all the signs of a male have vanished. He's smooth like a baby's butt. The signs have been gone for the last three weeks. He's 6 inches long, told he's big enough to sex.

So... a little piece of me died inside. I've lost my baby boy.

However, in the loss of my Gustavo. I've gained a Giovanna.

He went from Baby Gus. to Baby Gigi.

try not to say things like that in your titles unless they're 100% true, it puts an instant sense of sorrow and remorse upon any gecko lover.

Good luck finding a mate. Males are easier to come by than females this year. Last year was the total opposite. Females up for sale everywhere and not a single male around.

Hit up Greg May at Geckotopis when you get into town, he'll set you up with a really nice male.

Well. To me he kind of died. He no longer exists. =[ And I've been in mourning all night. It's hard to accept Giovanna. I was putting up a fight with his sex. haha. I was like "are you SURE?"

Yeah, I have been having a hard time telling the sex of my leos, because I don't know how old they are, just that they are pretty young. I think the one is a female, but now I am not so sure if she is gravid or not. I named her Ivy. I still need to figure out a neutral name for my other one. Good luck with Giovanna

Oh, wow--it took me awhile to figure out your thread. I was wondering, "Why is she talking about the gender when her gecko just died?" I was so sad and shocked from the title that my brain couldn't process what the heck was going on!
