That's my car ON my lawn. That big LAKE in the front? Yeah... that's the road. It's starting to come in the garage. We got sandbags coming out the wahzoo. Blehh. It's 4 feet deep outside. We're on a HILL. The house across the street is 2 feet flooded. We're starting to get a little bit of water inside...

Oh and that was an hour ago. It's been raining harder since. And it won't stop raining until around next week on Friday.

it's WORSE. We're doing contruction. We have the whole inside just drywalled. And all of our new cabinets are in the garage. You know what's got 2 inches of water now? The garage. ALL those cabinets. That's my $20,000 kitchen I designed!!!

We have insurance. But the thing about it, is it's FLORIDA. They don't do crap for us. When a tree fell on our house (hence the construction) back with hurricane charlie, they only gave us $1000. our WHOLE house was 2 feet under water, roof caved in, it was deemed unliveable. or whatever. So we demolished our house, and started doing construction. It's ALMOST finished! We needed to paint the drywall. And then install the cabinets! THAT'S IT! now we're going to have to start ALL OVER!

I woke up this morning and we have no power. I have the computer running on a generator. All the power lines are down. And my car is under 3 feet of water. The inside of my house has about 8" of water in it that got over the sand bags. I woke up and rolled out of bed and slipped into a puddle Lol and busted my ass. It's safe to say the drywall is fine. We caulked the windows last night in the rain, and tore off the bottom drywall sheets to salvage them. then put plastic all around the bottom to protect the insulation. Cabinets are decent. We pulled them into the attic. we got to them just before the wood swelled.

But there goes my car... Hopefully it'll still be fix-able. I don't mind water damage. I'll have to shampoo it real good. I just hope the engine is fine...

And we lost my cat last night. This morning he was sitting on the porch. Soaking wet. With the most evil look in his eyes like "you PITA, you let me outside and you KNEW it was going to rain harder!" haha. He's got a little cold. He keeps sniffling and sneezing. But he'll be fine.

And later tonight, we have a boat coming to take me to the emergency room for my toe. Since I broke it last night, it's gotten so swollen that my other toes are getting cut off from the circulation.

Good thing we act fast... or our house would be condemed again.

I live in Jacksonville Florida and it's definitely been nasty here i'm glad I live on the 2nd floor cause it's flooded here everywhere most of the bridges have been shut down, trees and power lines are all over the roads that are 2-3 feet underwater

Atleast it didn't linger over you from the start. I'm in Seminole county. Orlando basically. It came up on us, went to the right of us, which made us get those bright red rainbands and nearly 12 reported tornadoes. STAYED THERE going 5mph. Then decided to come BACK over us at 2mph moving slightly northwest. BLEHH. I got to the hospital though. =3 they put my on vikodin for my broken toe haha.
