Is my Gecko ill??

Hey guys,

Ive had my Leopard Gecko for a couple of months now and im slightly worried about him. Since Ive had him he's never been much of an eater, just a cricket here and there :( - he seems fine within himself but just a moment ago I noticed he was shaking his head, I walked over to the viv to check him out and he started doing it again, he then brought up what looks like a half digested cricket, no head just body. Does anyone know what could be going on?? Did it just go down the wrong way or is there a problem?

Many thanks,
Holly

Sometimes they just vomit for some reason. If it happens once it's not a problem. If it keeps happening, he needs a vet visit.

Try changing the food. They can be picky and some even stop liking what they normally eat, and when you change it up, they'll go right back to eating. Also, what size crickets are you feeding? And what are your temps? It's probably nothing, but temps and food size can cause regurgitation as well. If the cricks are too big, they won't digest properly therefore will cause regurgitation... so will low temps. (Won't digest propertly)
