*New Camera* Test

Got my new camera today for Christmas. It works very well and I like it much better than my old one. Here are some pictures I took today as a test. All but one pictures is a Uroplatus.

Excellent macro shots of your geckos. Nice collection too!! ;-) I love that little cork bark looking gecko ... he's adorable.

I haven't totally figured out how to use my camera to it's fullest extent. Sometimes I get good pics ... sometimes not. I find that I need to use a tripod to get nice close-ups like that. I've got a Konica Minolta Z5. I've been toying with the idea of getting a MACRO attachment for it or perhaps just upgrading to a new camera. It has a macro mode but I think an extra lens would really improve the pics.

Yeah definitely read up on your camera and know it well. One little setting could cause you to have great pictures or not so great pictures. Keep playing around with it till you are pleased, I am sure you can get so great pictures with your existing camera. :biggrin:
