It's been quite a while, since I posted any new photos of my C. elegans babies.:blushing:
(If you don't count photos of my animals posted by other members.)
So here are some of the last babies from 2008 breeding season.
Two nice normal striped ones with a body stripe (one has a short tail stripe as well) and one amazing fully striped specimen with almost complete tail stripe.
Long tail stripes are very rare. They are usually only about 30 to 50% length of the tail. Only a few babies per year have stripes more than about 80% of the tail length.
