Look out world!! GIGI'S BABIES ARE COMING!! =D

She weighs 48.92g

Apparently the vet has been weighing her WRONG this whole time. I do not have a scale of my own.

So I sent my fiance to Linens And Things, GiGi in pocket, to weigh her on a scale that's set out for display (luckily no one asked).

So once he told me it was 48.92g, I called the vet. Turned out the vet was weighing wrong. I asked them what weight were they setting it to 0 at. Apparently they were setting the scale to 0 at her "begining of the month" weight.
So when she weighed 19.6g, means she GAINED 19.6g. But no on explained this to me. I thought I was losing my mind. Whenever I asked "How much does she weight, now?" I'd get the "Weight gained" number, not the total.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

GiGi will be bred soon. =D To a Super Snow THIS month.

Who's excited? hm??? I know I AM!

I was so worried!!

She was as WIDE as an adult, and a little less long as an adult. But her tail is rather short for a leo, about 3/4 inch shorter.

I didn't get it. Lol. I was like HOW does she weigh 27g at almost 1 year?!?!

-------
Side note, she's OFFICIALLY healed of salmonella. Ran a few tests a week ago, all came up clear. =D

Awesome about the Salmonella. hehe, Athena is WAY shorter than she should be, lol. Her little regen tail is only about 1"!! But she's WIDER than Sprocket! No more wax worms for them for a while either!

The hard thing is I want to fatten her up, but she has fatty liver disease. Lol. The vet said to limit her fat intake.

I think I'll just give her extra phoenix worms for the next three weeks, until I breed her. She'll eat them if they're there.

Oh and if I have a female MS from the group, I'll save it for you. =]

Since they'll be free, most likely I'll post pictures of all of them, and label them alphabetically. Incubated females in one row, incubated males in another. And do a first come first serve.

But I'll save you one. ;] I'll show you the pictures first. Lol. I'm going to keep only a couple for myself. And I don't care what they look like!

Some of the more pretty ones I may ask a fee. But not like a $75 fee. LOL. Like a "here's some cash for feeding these monsters!" kind of fee. I'm thinking $20+shipping.

:D Sweeet! I think the fee, and shipping costs, help to discourage impulse buyers as well.
How to faqtten a leo without feeding fatty foods.. My guess, feed a LOT.

Lol. That's what I'm thinking. I don't want random people (with no experience) to take my baby's babies and keep them improperly!

I also need to feed the boy, he's a tiny bit under weight, his tails not as fat as it could be but it's not too skinny either. I'm thinking about naming him Liam. =] What do you think? You've seen a picture of him. Does he look like a Liam?

I'm only going to promise Jen a female MS for now. =] She's one of my buddy's on here. Lol. So she's the only one with dibs.

If I have another one hatch (after the two I want) I'll let you know. Most likely I'll just post a whole thread with all the babies (just to show the babies, not an ad) and you can PM me which one you want.

First things first!
LETS WAIT! To see IF she breeds with him!

I like that name lots! An Irish Gecko!
*More pics may be needed, however, for proper naming*, haha.

Lol. I just think Liam fits him. He's a really calm gecko. When I held him I got the "I'm too cool for this" attitude kind of vibe from him. And he likes to get his neck rubbed. Liam is a smooth name meant for a smooth "too cool" guy. Haha.

Did you get him already?
Oh, and Athena Likes neck rubs! She's probably my most laid back girl (don't flip her over though, she's very vocal about not liking that!)

I've spent some time at the store playing with him. He sat on my shoulder for a good hour while I looked at the snaked. =D I've never even heard him click or anything yet. =]

I think im going to do the same thing when I start breeding but before I let people buy them im going to ask them to answer some questions and if the person sounds like an impulse buyer I will tell them no in a nice way of course :D

I'm not going to ask them questions. It'll most likely be people from this board who will get the babies or they'll be a few of my friends locally.

I'm not going to give a baby to a complete stranger.
