Geckos syncing up?

So my baby just shed not even an hour ago and now GiGi's shedding. They started shedding at the same time about a month ago.

Are they like girls that spend so much time together that their cycles sync? Do they have some kind of hormone they excrete through their pores like humans?

AHAHAH!! yes, that is exactly what i was thinking as I started reading this thread. Don't know the scientific reason why, except maybe the feedings at the same times and everything else that is in sync maybe has something to do with it. Hilarious thread.

I think it has to be super soldier biological attack school. Imagine getting everyone synced up. Just throw them into another country and watch the carnage.

I know the geckos do use their thigh pores to rub on the ground to signal each other. Maybe that has something to do with shedding as well.

Well, GiGi's a bad shedder. I left her alone for 30 minutes and she pulled off skin on her face that wasn't ready. Now her face is red. I just finished putting on her antibiotic cream given by the vet for this reason and her constant scabbies on her cheek fold from chewing on things in the tank. Now her whole face is shiny. Lol.

Gotta love her odd brain function from being a hypochondroplasia dwarf. :)

When I first got my geckos they all would shed like weeks apart . Now its if they arent shedding all on the same day , they are within days of each other . Its nice cuz then I dont have to worry about checking to make sure they got it all if they shed when I was away .
