I come from the mysterious land known as 'Gulfport, Mississippi'.
Seriously. California & Florida seem to have everything related to reptiles, and all the other states have been left in the dust. :scratchhead:
Anyways...
I'm obviously here because I'm interested in geckos, though on the flip-side of the coin, I wouldn't be here if my previous pet was still residing with me. I formerly was taking care of a relatively small bearded dragon since early 2007, though I had to rehome it this summer because of where I was moving to. Although on the positive side of the coin, I can at least say I have some experience with caring for lizards now, 3 years worth of experience to be more specific. It's not an overwhelming amount of experience, but it's just enough to know about the basic & some of the more advanced aspects of care.
So, in short; I'm here because I'm reading about a potential pet.
In long; I'm here because I've a big, gaping hole in my life stemming from the absence of my previous pet, and I long to have a pet that's suitable for where I currently live. Geckos (gargoyle geckos in particular) seem to be a promising group of animals, and this forum looks well supported and populated with experienced & well informed users.
