Brumation?...Maybe?

Hey Guys!

Right so I have had my Leo since the beginning of April, I've noticed that over the last couple of days he's been spending most of his time (actually as far as I'm aware, all his time) in his cool hide, popping out rarely for a drink. From what I can tell, his mealies have gone untouched and he hasn't pooped :? I've taken him out for a check, he seems absolutely fine, he doesn't look ill, no lumps and bumps. My heat source is a heat mat (no lamp) kept at 92 via the thermostat. So my question is, could he be starting to go through brumation? I have no clue about what to do lol! Is it normal for them to start this early? For them to not poop? :? Can it be harmful if it goes wrong? :blushing:

Thanks! x

This is exactly what happens with some of my geckos. They're not pooping because they're not eating much. Just keep offering water and occasional food.

Just another question, how long can I expect it to go on for?

Thanks! :)

You can control that to an extent, by warming the temperatures up slowly. I didn't get much argument when I started trying to feed everyone after New Year (the days are getting longer then). That was about 6 weeks, which I think is about average.
