Ok wouldn't this be a problem? If you put the eggs in deli cups and the eggs hatch wouldn't the babies suffocate before you would notice they hatch?

There is plenty of air in there. I keep my eggs in "airtight" (but probably not really) containers and babies can be in there for as much as 24 hours before I come to get them and they're fine.
