Pictures of the henkeli hatchling that was theoretically sired by male I posted a few months ago. Just got my camera back, enjoy! and please comment.

The Genus Uroplatus

Thanks for the comments everyone! I intend to keep the hatchling and breed it with one of its sibs to try and isolate the trait. I feel it will show up with frequency.

An interesting discovery: For those of you who are lucky enough to own ( and perhaps this will inspire those who do not to purchase it) THE Uroplatus book by Svatek and van Duin, you should look on page 109 in the Henkeli section. I could have saved our discussion as to whether or not we would acknowledge my WC male as a henkeli had I simply scoured the pages a little better. Of course I love getting a discussion started, so that would have been too easy.

Its a very nice pic of an animal labeled henkeli, it is a visual male, and it displays the pattern type that I have shown to be present in a few animals of mine.
