Hi Mike ~

Welcome to GU! Tell us about your critters.

Have you had your tokay since she was a youngster? I have heard of people gradually taming tokays. Leopards are maybe easier to tame. My leopard will reliably hang out on the back of my neck while I'm at the computer. She was several years old when I received her.

Sometimes taming begins with gentle handling when the geckos are hatchlings. I have a 6.5 yo captive hatched Ptychozoon kuhli (flying gecko) that I raised from hatchlinghood. In fact, that is Sara in my GU avatar. I can handfeed her! My WC male flyer will not accept handfed crickets.

She was about 1 when I got her, and I dont really have an urge to try and tame her, I just move her when I clean.
My leopard is pretty tame, I dont think he would just sit on me, hes an explorer, but he walks into my hand when I reach in.
There are pics of them on my profile if you want to see them.
