Is this normal ?

Hey everybody , Couple of days ago i saw somthing on my leo that i never noticed. Maybe its something new maybe its because i just never saw it. She has a big black spot under her belly , Its from the inside.

I tought it may only be her liver but im not 100% sure.
I have to say i moved around 2 weeks ago and i didnt noticed that she had ate. Maybe a couple of mealworms but i dont count them so its hard to tell. Also she wont eat crickets at all. I may buy a couple of wax worms to see if she will eat one even if she didnt lost weight. I dont have a scale but she's still a little fatty.
Also it might be the transport that stressed her because it took like 8 hours and she sometimes is really scared of me now. I can pick her up but it takes longer than usual. She never did that.
She also had 2 small poops even if she didnt ate so i dont think she's impacted.
I also have to say that she's drinking fine. I never see her drink but i can see that she drinks because the water goes away too quickly for being only Evaporation.

So what do you think ?

Take her to the vets, that doesn't look normal. Is it hard when you feel it, or is there any lumps under the skin? Does it seem to hurt her when you touch it?
If you are using a loose substrate, are there bits of it in her stools? Does she have a under tank heater? And, if the water is evaporating in your tank then you aren't changing her water enough. I change it everyday, that way no nasty bacteria from things dying in it. I wouldn't feed her until you get to a vet anyway, because if it is impaction then adding food to it will only make it worse.

Shes been on extra fine Quartz sand her whole life. She's pooping even if she doesnt eat so im pretty sure its not Impaction.
Also she's extremely active when i pick her up and let her go on my bed ( Like she usually does ) so thats a good sign. And yes i have a UTH but you made me think about something.
I had the UTH always on AND a ceramic heat emitter because it was really cold on my old house but here i didnt installed it yet and i see that the temps are lower than usuall 24celcius on hot side instead of the 32 celcius i always had before. Ill install the CHE and see if she eat more.
Im thinking because of the colder temps she is thinking winter is coming even if its ending.
Ill keep you guys informed.

EDIT: forgot to say it doesnt bother and hurt her , She's 100% normal exept she doesnt eat ( She never ate alot since she grew bigger , In fact she eat less than a half that she did when young , i was kinda over feeding her :) )

I didnt noticed that she's eating but I see small poop once in a while , The white thing is about the same size than the brown thing. I think it might be Ovulation hunher strike because its been about 9-10 months I have her and it never happened. She's still extremely active and didnt loose weight. I dont have a scale but she's still a little fat. I tried giving her waxworms but she refuses them.
I heard that ovulation hunger strike can take several months so I will wait and see if I see change in her behaviour.

Several months?? It seems excessive to me...if she's not losing weight we don't have to worry, but keep an eye on her

Sry for my bad english i meant a couple of months. I readed that it can be anywhere from 1-3 months. Wich seems alot to me. But like you said , Ill keep a eye on her.

The black area is her liver. Your girl's liver is enlarged most likely due to a hunger strike. I tried to get some photos of my females but none have enlarged livers. Giovanna's liver was always swollen (but she recently passed away), which showed exactly what your female is showing. You could see the dark/black part up the side, even from a top view.

To reduce it you need to get her to eat. It's important to get her to eat. They can go long periods of time without food as long as she's not losing weight. If she IS losing weight then eventually she'll come to liver failure.

Try giving her Jump Start (made by Zilla) for a couple days, then offer some food.

If that don't work, try a slurry. If it doesn't work (what Allee said) let us know and we can give you some recipes for her that will give her the much needed nutrients she needs.

Slurry isn't used as a staple. It should only be used to provide bowel movements. The slurry I use has added ingredients put together by my vet that they can live off of for long periods of time. Slurry is only temporary.

Sure , If i see that she loose weight i wont stay doing nothing ! But for now she's in perfect health as i can see and is extremely active. I am not worrying but if behaviour or physical change occur , Ill let you know.

Hey just a little update. Nothing really major but she ate a cricket. I dropped it in frond of her and she attacked it immediately. Would have liked to give her another but it was my last cricket :( She still refuse mealworms and Waxworms. Ill buy more crickets tommorow and see if she will eat some more. No lost weight that i can see ( dont have a scale ) but shes still a little fatty. Also really active when handeled. So she's still doing good.
I sometimes wish CB leos were like my Cordylus Tropidosternum , Attacking everything that moves. Some leos really lost their hunter instinct after so many years of CB.

Ok another update , She's starting to eat a little more. She ate a couple of mealworms and 2 waxworms these days. Pretty sure it was the ovulation hunger strike. She didnt loose weight as i can see and is still pretty active. Glad its now getting better , It was playing with my nerves.

i would take her to a reptial vet there are alot of them you just have to look this black spot could be very fatial or it could be just fine i wouls sujest taking it in though ~geckogirl123
