Baby crickets!

So, i went to mist my leo's humid hide out today... and there were like 100 baby crickets in there! I already dumped it out- they were really gross. Anyways, I don't see any evidence that they were able to get out of the humid hide, but do you think I should clean out their tank to be safe? I wouldn't even hesitate, its just I JUST cleaned out their tank two weeks ago (monthly huge cleaning). Go ahead and strip it down and clean it up.. or just assume they never got out? Their humid hide is a tub with a hole in the top, so they would of had to jump out the top hole. Suggestions?

I don't think you really have to do anything. The babies are somewhat fragile and many don't survive. If they do, then the geckos can eat them.

If you are feeding your leo and other animals large size crickets (full grown), you will see that the females have a black "pointy thing" sticking out of the end of them. They lay their eggs from there and look for the conditions offered by most hide boxes to lay them. You don't need to clean the tank but if crickets stay in there for too long, they might find a way in again and lay more.

Thanks for the replies! I did dump out the baby crickets bc it was stopping my leo's from being comfortable in there and I didn't want the crickets to grow and nibble on them. I ended up not changing out the sand,I didn't see any evidence of babies outside of the humid hide. I usually don't leave crickets in there long, so they must have laid in there before the mom got ate ha
