Cepediana introduction HELP!

Hi. I put my new pair of cepediana together yesterday but the male hid in the bamboo tube till the lights went off. Today, the male only came out at about 5 pm and he displayed to the female who seemed to reject him and try to run away from him. He caught up and approached her and she bit him on his neck. The male bit her neck and i think they mated (it looked like it but i cannot be 100% sure there was actually a 'connection' lol). She was making a squeaking noise. Then when he let go, she ran and hid. She has come out occaisionally since, but the male will just bob his head, shake his tail, or approach her and she'll run off and hide again. The male likes running around and exploring but the female is just hiding from the male. Would it be best if i were to separate them or should i keep them together for a bit longer before making a conclusion? Thanks very much for your help,

Ed :D

It's ok now. The male stopped pestering the female so much and she came out and basked with him so they seem to be getting along well :D

Ok thanks guys. I will definitely keep my eyes peeled. I have not seen any aggression between them at all since the first day and they are often basking right next to, or even on top of each other!
