Are metal halides what make so many of these Euro Phelsuma look so good?
Thank you for following my directions Pono. haha

That s one reason but in the case of Pono's ornata it was the Mauritian sun. Im pretty sure his male is wc. I breed ornatas several years and even if you keep then outside during summertime their colours stay more pastel colored.
oh man those are SICK!!! are cepediana as really difficult as everyone says?
nicee!!! hope fully they have babies for you![]()
Hello!
beautiful animals!
Pleas, They have a male cepedians orange underside of tail ??
Thanks
Some cepediana have the red underside to the tail, others don't, even varying between hatchlings from the same parents. Some are orange, others are bright red. It can be both males and females. Tends to have largely disappeared within 12 months. Males tend to hold the colour longer than females (but that might just be my imagination!). There could be a connection between red underside and incubation temperature, with the red coming at higher temperatures, but not something I have looked at in any detail
Great photosPhelsumas are so lovely animals
Know somebody what does it mean when Phelsumas are starting making some weird voices? It is like clatter. My lizards recently started and I don't know what's that ^^
