This lady sells "Leopard gecko secrets" over a 6 day period (
Leopard Gecko Information) to give you a happy healthy gecko. Her only testimonial is:
"We purchased a 10 gal tank already pre-created for his home environment. The pet store said to put UV lights, but we ended up putting an orange light that creates enough heat and isn't so harsh on his/her eyes (pet store couldn't tell the gender) ... He comes out of his cave more since taking out the UV (which I read another breeder saying they are too harsh).
We have a bamboo and amethyst crystal cluster in there too! Hopefully Buddy won't eventually eat the bamboo? I received a list from the pet store of "what not to feed reptiles" in terms of veggies 'n fruit, but no mention of a bamboo stick!
I'll send a photo of Buddy soon too (he's sleeping after a cricket feed right now!).
