How to Wean a Leopard Gecko off Mealworms?

I'm having some trouble weaning my leopard gecko off Mealworms, she was raised on them and i didn't know they were bad for her until recently, i'd rather be safe than sorry, You know? i tried a few weeks ago to get her to eat them, but no success. she noticed they are there, but i think they're to fast for her, that was when she was young and wasn't very quick. i don't think she'll be able to eat crickets mostly because they're to fast because i kind of baby her she won't eat out of a bowl so i kinda just put the mealworm directly in front of her.. Any help would be great because i really don't want her to get impacted.

Mealworms are fine in moderation, just not as the sole dietary source and fed with proper tank temps. Vary up her diet. Offer her dusted crickets and see how she does. If they're too fast you can remove the back legs to slow them down.

Mealworms, superworms, crickets, roaches, waxworms (as treats), butterworms, phoenixworms, silkworms, etc.

A varied diet makes for a happy leo.

You could also try a dish for the crickets... Use a stout glass bowl that you can see through and remove the legs off of the crickets before putting them in the dish.

I hand-feed both of my leopard geckos most of the time. With Bahamut I use my hand because he has better aim, but with Jubjub I use tongs. In both instances I leave the back legs on because that is where I hold the cricket before I give it to the geckos.

Whichever way you choose, if - and only if -you want your gecko to eat only crickets, just stop feeding it any other types of bugs. Eventually it will start eating the crickets. Once you gecko starts eating the crickets, start offering a variety of bugs so that your gecko doesn't get sick of eating only crickets all the time.

Alright, i'll try that once i get more crickets, it sucks because the only pet store around here is 45 minutes away =/
