My 16 month old leo used to be friendly and was very ok with human contact but he stopped eating & drinking 17 days ago and now he is cranky and angry. :(

I need to give him warm baths to rehydrate him 'cus the left side of his head had sunken, but he doesn't allow me to touch him. Picked him up today and he bit me, for the first time!

How do I pick him up without stressing him out? How do I handle him now that he tries to bite me?

His "sunken in left head" is definitely unusual. I too recommend vet attention for that problem, especially by an exotics vet who specializes in reptiles. I have never noticed this to ever be a presenting (initial) issue in the leopard gecko posts I've seen on GU.

Perhaps his behavior has changed so drastically because of pain/pressure from his head issue???

Hope the only vet in Singapore whom you have found who treats lizards will be really thorough. Best wishes for your appointment.
